Emailed Brett yesterday speculating that if it was Sin Tang dumping at 5c then why have they not lodged changes in substantial holders notices. Brett advised that Sin Tang have not been selling but a party that is possibly related to them which holds less than 5% have been the sellers. The party was the only large holder to vote with Sin-Tang on the recent General Meeting votes. So in a nut shell, Sin Tang still holds 10M shares. Whether they intend to sell at these levels or not, no one knows. If Sin Tang decide to sell at these prices then we could go lower. I can't for the life of me work out why this party would sell at current prices at a significant loss when they could possibly lock in a lot better prices after the Taifeng deal happens. Maybe it's a deliberate ploy to hold the share price down low before Sin Tang launches a takeover! Just speculating here!
I asked Brett whether Taifeng had tried to vary the share purchase price in view of the low share price and he stated that Taifeng are standing by the deal and have not asked to amend the issue price.
