I'm baffled others are surprised that Wotif.com can provide, or intends to provide the best and cheapest accommodation. It is purely a booking mechanism that charges a fee of 10%. Hotels the same as wotif.com are designed to make a profit, and when the fee is 10% a hotel sometimes 'load' the price a little. Therefore, I have used both wotif.com to book a room, and sometimes purely for information then ring the hotel directly... Gotta do what's best for yourself, not complain when you haven't got the best deal.
