You think it is quiet here, over at CNP the silence is deafening. I say that because CER is waiting for the CNP business to finalise. When that happens we will know our new major shareholders and what they intend to do with the CER shareholding they have obtained by default. Will they have a selldown of find investors?. That is the answer we need to know. We also need to know what funds will merge with CER and on what terms. Hard to put a value on CER until we have those answers.
I still believe there is a chance of a divvy. I suggest the new owners of the CNP shares, assuming the deal is settled by then, will be wanting to build value by building confidence.
So it's a waiting game (and its the end of the duck season).
