Read them both.
Only difference I could spot was the May 2016 announcement was for Japan only and said that "will be available to BroadSoft Japan customers immediately" - No customers have materialised in 15+months
And this new announcement said 'Targeting availability to all customers globally by 31 Dec 2017" and "First services going live in Australia".
So I don't see the difference in these two deals with the same company, other than geography and timing.
- One is historical and hasn't resulted in any clients or revenue.
- The new deal says 'targeting availability", not even revenue or clients, in 3 months time. So a 'future' date that is only a target, not contractual, and no minimums.
Clearly I do not think it's straightforward, which is why I asked the question - why is this announcement from DUB different?
