The most telling part of the Dar Group statement, I thought, was the last sentence, viz:
Dar Group has no present intention of initiating discussions with WorleyParsons a change of control transaction.
Meaning the WOR board - after it will surely be dispatched by major shareholders to now engage in discussion with Dar - will be the ones wearing the humility of picking up the phone and dialing the UEA.
I wish I could be in the room.
It's laugh-out-loud funny.
As I said, I bought shares in WOR despite the management of the company, certainly not because of it.
