Really aabaadd, maybe you should talk to the new guys who run the show. You appear to be in a time warp.
The previous administration were not able to advance the molly deposit quickly enough.
Just as well, given the guts fell out of the price on a downtrend in the world business cycle something like $40 to $7. We would be all waiting for the Administrators, but instead new sophisticated management can now plan and deliver for a rising world business cycle and have a suite of assets for leverage up their sleeve without the burden of wasted debt to get a bigger bang for their buck going forward to unlock the value of shareholder’s assets. An entry into any stock should be based on best timing.
There is much more exploration, proving,de-risking, planning, and, after more time passing, construction to be done.
True, but this is what the management should be doing in the scheduling of the development of all DTM assets rather than sitting on their hands during idle time waiting for lithium samples. It’s called critical path project management! It’s about breaking down the big picture into manageable tasks. It’s not retail or press the button for instant gratification. Management are actually working for their remuneration but aren’t the new team highly experienced in finance and mining and supported by key shareholders? Hasn’t the new management diversified and demonstrated vision by securing huge tenements bearing lithium? We will soon see if the speculation is rewarded. Not a bad problem to have?
It also requires major share issue/s, consolidation etc., and time.
Management have stated up front they are seeking a near term joint venture to develop assets. Their tenements are vast and plenty for everyone e.g. 50km of pegmatites, an 18 year mine life with known molybdenum and precious metals to boot. Not small beer.
Will the then administration be able to progress things quickly and establish a self-funding operation ?
With a JV comes further expertise and capital to be applied during an upturn rather than a downturn which is a better strategy than applying it in a downturn wouldn’t you think? Given the director’s backgrounds, I am confident they will be astute negotiators for mutual benefit. The economics of any operation depends on a feasibility study in due course but the announcement of a JV would indicate to me sound DD by the JV partner.
Or will further significant share issue/s be necessary?
No problem with this if it puts scale into the operation of extracting vast resources for economic return. I’m certainly in the green from my low entry and anticipate multiples from here.
Other major projects like Wolf Minerals UK are also waiting to re-establish momentum on their projects so there may be a rush of new product on market simultaneously.
Put it in perspective, Wolf minerals will be dictated to by world commodity prices and that would form part of the economic modelling and timing of production of DTM too just like all players on the world scene. All companies will see the benefit of a rise in commodity prices, not just a couple. A world upturn demonstrates considerable scale of commodity scarcity due to the rundown of stocks during a downturn.
This began as a gold play, switched in to a molly play, is currently a speculative lithium play, and may revert to a molly play.
It sure did start as a gold play, and they have numerous gold assets and what a bonus it was to find molybdenum in such quantity! Now new management are exercising their nous. What vision it was too to tie up huge tenements containing lithium. Seems to me the new management understand opportunity cost of multiple commodities and the environment in which they work.
Where, and how will it " finish ", and who will own it ?
For one, I will own part of it just like others who examine the risk and reward for the long run. If it has an attractive take-over offer, I won’t complain either.
