I would think its a certainity that quite a few AFL players are on performance enhancing drugs , we really have our head in the sand if we believe otherwise .
The AFL likes to defend its record , however look at the nature of the game and the importance of injury recovery . We probably all know someone ( even at a much lower level ) who played on for one or two too many seasons who has done great damage to their body . Throw in the $$$$ aspect and its pretty hard to believe everyone is clean .

Lets not forget Its not only Tour De France cyclists who are on the juice , golfers are using as well ..the extreme physical nature of the AFL requires " super human " efforts beyond breaking point , extremely difficult to see every player as being " clean " . Some far more intense testing required .
