I'd be surprised to see an announcement before the 4C is released at the end of this month, unless it was material of course. The last update was less than a month ago!!
For me, I would think something like 1M users would be considered material. Less than that and it would be considered continued growth at similar rates to that of the last few month.
There has been no undertaking to produce monthly paid user numbers. It would make sense to release an update coinsiding with the 4C.
50k to 100k user increases are no longer considered material IMO (good thing).
Patience.
I'm more interested in the numbers that can be produced through ALSO once that is fully online. That is still a few months off.
