    A hosting site was attacked because vigilante activists suspected some sites hosted there contained child abuse. In such a case, data loss could result to innocent sites that are affected because the entire hosting site is attacked. The rise of online vigilante activism would seem to be a driver of assurance products like backup services. Good for the likes of Dropsuite, which is in the assurance business.
