I see this sentence a lot and I don't really understand it.

You suggest to buy when for a longterm hold? now? 

If buy now for longterm hold then surely it is a good time to buy now for short term?

Unless you have no idea what it will do in short term but are confident it will go higher than current in the long term.

In which case you should not be suggesting people without patience sell as you have no idea about the short term.

Anyway, off topic but I don't think that sentence makes much sense.
