There is a poster on HC called 'Juk" I believe he is a metallurgist and familiar with refractory ore (Apex metals) .
In this case as you allude cashedup preg robbing would occur as Copper would attach to the carbon , so there needs to be a flotation and HMS/gravity circuits pre CIL to scrub the Copper out. There could be other deliterious elements to which would need taking out , so really a metallurgist does need to validate the process
If DRM is looking at it I am sure they will run a fine tooth comb over it they seem a cautious lot.
