Anyone noticed the strength creeping back into base metals prices recently. Copper was particularly strong last night.
At about this time last year we saw keen interest in junior base metals plays (MNR, MRX, AVL, etc) in anticipation of an upturn in the US economy. For all sorts of reasons that scenario didn't play out, and we've seen the US double dip or, at best, bounce along the bottom.
Meanwhile, we've all been hunkered down waiting for the deluge to subside.
Well, maybe the worst is over. And just now, while the tide is still out, there are many gems glinting on the golden sands. All it takes is a little nerve to pluck them up.
