Mt Wilson Deposit Drilling to Commence Next Week

+++++++++++++++++++++++++ Matrix Metals Limited is pleased to announce that the next round of drilling at the Mt Watson Deposit is planned to proceed during the week commencing 21 October 2002.
A soil sampling program, due to be completed this week, has identified several large copper anomalies in the target areas, including most recently, a new anomalous zone along a cross fault linking the Boomerang 1 and 2 anomalies. The soil sampling program has established that this area, located 750 metres to the east of Mt Watson, is linked to form a continuous anomalous zone of 900 metres strike length, and has reported values of up to 790 parts per million copper.
The newly identified area will be the initial target of the Reverse Circulation drilling program, which will comprise at least 1,100 metres targeting mineralisation in the areas identified from the soil sampling program.
These target areas, known as the Southern zone, Boomerang 1, 2 and 3 and the Hinge zone, are all in the direct vicinity of the current Mt Watson resource area.
