RE your "...shareholders should make every effort to attend the General Meeting on 23 February so that they can make known their feelings of gratitude to the Board of Orion."
May I respectfully suggest that OIP shareholders ought to be taking action NOW to ensure that the effectiveness of those of us who can attend that meeting is enhanced.
Those of us unable to attend should be giving our proxies to those who can. (Please tell me who.) And we should send our complaints to the ASX about the conflict of interest that those OIP shareholders who also hold shares in GGX have, so they are excluded from voting. I shall chase up the ASX today for an answer on that score.
Then there is action in the media to publicise our cause so that more and better informed OIP shareholders will attend and express their objections.
Is there any other action we can take?
