I just did some sums; and to get to 1c, the buyers would have to plough through $2.5m worth of shares on the sell side. As much as 40m traded may look like a lot, that's only $100k worth... trading would need to be 25x more impressive to get there right away, and that's without taking into account all the off-screen sellers that'll dump in once it looks like they can take some profits.
