Up votes, down votes, I really don't care. I call it how I see it, and if I'm wrong, I'll take the lumps I deserve. :) If others don't want to listen and consider what I have to say, that's their lookout, not mine.
I'm new to the small cap game - most of my share market investment to date has been blue chips or managed funds - but hell, people, have a bit of sense. Nobody's going to pour money into a penny stock without something pretty damn serious to back up that decision. At .3 cents per share, it's worth a flutter. At 1 cent per share, with the history of the company, you'll be selling as fast as you can unless there's good reason to believe the revenue of the company is going to grow, and grow fast, in the future.
I'm seeing a lot of emotions running high, and that's not good for investment decisions. The potential gains here are huge, true - I wouldn't have bought in otherwise - but they won't eventuate without something solid, and simply starting drilling isn't solid. Not even close. It's progress, yes (which is why I'm willing to agree to a .1 or .2 - possibly even .3, although I very much doubt it - cent rise when the drilling starts), but it's not enough.
