.001 is a 33% return on current prices. .002 is a 66% return. .003 - 100% return. One cent per share is over 200%. You're telling me that the price is going to soar to over triple its current price on unverified, uncertain guestimates? You've more faith than I have. And you seriously expect to get back something significant ten meters under the ground? You're setting yourself up for disappointment - high expectations, with little more (from what I'm seeing) than hope behind them.

What I'm saying is that there are still risks. I doubt that we'll know, as soon as the samples come up, what the content of those samples are - that will probably have to wait for the lab. I stick by what I've said: the fundamental questions are what the value of the ore is (has to wait for the lab, and probably a more expansive drilling program), and how much it'll cost to get it out. What facilities are in place, or nearby, that can be used to ship the ore out to the processing plant (or wherever the buyer wants it)? (bearing in mind the problems some small cap iron ore miners have had with being unable to access the rail facilities owned by BHP and Rio Tinto, for example.) If there aren't any that DMN can use (either because they don't exist, or the owners won't give access), how much will it cost to set them up? How much will it cost to set up the mine? How much will the mine cost to operate on a per tonne basis?

And we still don't know if there's even anything worth mining down there.

There's a reason why mining companies make fortunes for those who invest in them early: most small cap mining companies fold before they strike a lode. Maybe the site turned out to be unviable. Maybe the costs of getting the goods out was too high. Lots of possible reasons. We're talking high risk, high return. All I'm seeing here is talk about high return, and nothing about the high risk. Like I said: I have a not insignificant amount of money tied up in the company, in the hope of a high return - but I'm realistic enough to recognise the likelihood that I'll lose it all.

bagrii said it a lot better than I can. Have patience, keep a level head, and don't lose your perspective on the whole thing. The whole discussion board seems to be perilously close to expecting the balloon to soar to absurd heights on the heat from a match.
