I think you will find it was 1966 -
interesting exploration history too.
I think KD1 struck a solid high grade intersection - to be Lunnon Shoot.
KD2 & 3 were drilled elsewhere around the dome and I think hit no joy.
KD4 was drilled months later - (and struck the poorly understood Fisher Shoot)
Correct me if I am wrong but KD5, 6 & 7 were not great.
Then KD8, 9 & 10 came in winners.
A lesser company might have got cold feet at the mounting bills.
