Maybe you forgot that Port Phillip bay has approved spoil grounds for the disposal of dredged material . Much of that material is from the channel and the port . Plenty of pass there Ant .
Cairns is not comparable to Melbourne and to suggest that dredge spoil would ever be transported through traffic to a destination 147 k's inland is laughable.
