I never bought into AVZ even though I followed the hype about the biggest lithium deposit over the last few years. The single reason why I didn't buy is the sovereign and country risk associated with investing in DRC. This is a huge hurdle that overshadows anything and everything that AVZ pull out of the ground. While this is just my opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if institutional investors have similar fears.
