I noticed at my local Woolworths that Red Island 4 litre olive oil was priced identically to a bunch of the other 4 litre options (instead of quite a bit above), and that was without a special.
Since there was no reason not to buy it, I did buy it.
I wonder if this new pricing strategy (if that is what it is) will result in greater sales for RLA? I'd much rather buy Red Island olive oil (or other similar boutique brand) than the ordinary generic blends.
