Now why would the Australian Fed gov use an outdated figure for PV of around 75c/kWhr when the current commercial scale price is around 19-21c/kWhr?
Methinks there is a game afoot. The game might be;
delay solar long enough to get new baseload gas installed and the state governments out of electricity generation
concurrently push for national rules for renewables/distributed connection-payment-balancing then six months before the election open up tenders and
reverse auctions for all manner of residential/commercial/utility scale renewables generation to lock in the Green vote and have a good number of locked in residential FIT receivers who stand to lose if the LNP shuts down the FIT schemes.
Many of the small number of surviving renewable energy companies in OZ won't survive to see that sun rise.
