So, having understood that, it seems that if Condisoil is licensed for sale, a significant quantity of WLP must still be stored awaiting processing into Condisoil. Onsite storage doesn’t seem to have caused a problem in 6 years, but Lynas just aren’t going to win that argument with Yeo, however I can’t see any valid reason why she objects to a PDF. She can’t even justify excluding a PDF from consideration with her dubious Precautionary Principle, there’s simply no doubt that if you store the WLP in a PDF then it’s minding it’s own business out of harm’s way. Perhaps the PDF solution will eventually be mutually acceptable and then Lynas can get Condisoil approved later down the track when the political climate changes.
