On the 24th of December 2012, the east coast of Malaysia has one of the worst floods ever in
decades because of the severe Monsoon rains.
Large areas of Kuantan town and the rest of Pahang state was severely inundated.
However, according to one of the Chinese newspapers Sin Chew,
the only famous place that is NOT FLOODED IS THE LYNAS PLANT !

This is not unexpected as the plant is built on land
that is 10 METRES (33 ft) ABOVE SEA LEVEL.
So if the plant is flooded, practically the whole of Kuantan would be severely flooded and most of the Kuantan folks would be under at least 10 ft of water!

LYC is an Australian company supplying the ROW with quality RE. LYC is primarily supplying & supporting the Japanese market. LYC is in direct competition with the Chinese state enterprises that are reliant on the deep pockets & policies of the Chinese government to operate.
Is it not Chinese government policy to require 'Chinese' diaspora to provide assistance to the Chinese government/intelligence services if asked?
This would not be happening if LYC was a Chinese state owned puppet.
This isn't about science, public health or topography.
