Dr Looi, seems the big problem is the lawmakers are not prepared to read and understand the most excellent scientifically proven and peer reviewed explanations you post.
There is clearly another agenda which is being driven by somebody(s) who have committed to have the Lynas LAMP in Pahang closed down. You need to look at who would benefit most from this action to understand just who is creating this problem for Lynas.
We now know on Yeo's own admision this decision has nothing to do with science but is based on an archaic theory since expanded and penned by a group of professors over 20 years ago. It is unbelievable such a flimsy excuse could be used to try and destroy a company which is making a very important contribution to both the Malaysian economy and in the process is supplying materials that are essential for use in green technology and automation. For goodness sake surely it is time for a senior Malaysian lawmaker to stand up and put an end to this charade before this minister Yeo imposes her idealistic socialist agenda on the Malaysian economy. Unless this lunacy is closed down very quickly the damage to Malaysia Inc will be much greater than the loss of Lynas. Reference to RCR post above by way of some examples of the implications of this Yeo thinking.
