    Miner64,

Of the reasons put forward by GGG for the take-over, imo two are really important.

    1. It will consolidate B'ling into one controlling and owned entity which both companies agree is a good thing and this should add shareholder value.

    2. If successful it will allow GGG to implement a much more aggressive drilling operation, possibly going up to 6 rigs on site.

It's the second point that will really add shareholder value and also the sooner it is done the less chance we have of being taken out, and therefore losing out, before realising B'ling true potential. Both companies have used the words 'potentially world class' and I can easily see 5 to 10 million ounces being pulled from the ground, in time, over the current controlled acreage.

One other observation from the GGG Charimans statement. Dr Greg Partington is specifically thanked:

''I'd like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the dedication shown by Dr. Greg Partington and his team from Kennex who have thus far led the geological investigations at Bullabulling''

I get the impression that if the TO goes ahead, then I would not be surprised of at least one AZX director, Greg, being appointed to the GGG BoD and kept in charge of B'ling.

Also reading from the initial AZX refusal statement, at the bottom it said:

'....each (AZX) Director reserves the right to make decisions in light of the prevailing circumstances at the time of their decision and to change earlier decisions (including any statements of present intention).....'

Hypothetical and circumstantial evidence but I think Greg could well be 'unofficially' in favour of the take-over!?

    Temu
