Despite blaming Israel, the US, Saudi's and the attack being credibly claimed by a local Ahvaz resistance movement, in retaliation for the Ahvaz attack IRAN launch "precision" missile strikes on ISIS in Syria in the midst of the US/Kurd operation to clear ISIS from the area.  

One missile reportedly fails.

I wonder if this strike was coordinated with the US through the de-confliction protocols or a unilateral action fire deliberate escalation due to placing US/Kurdish ground forces at risk?  I am guessing the latter.
