Strike Resources Ltd (ASX:SRK) reports iron ore mineral resources at the
Opaban 1 and Opaban 3 concessions in the Apurimac Iron Ore Project in
Peru have increased from a total of 133.5m tonnes (Mt) Indicated Mineral
Resource at 59.4pc Fe to a total of 269.4 Mt, comprising:
* a 142.2 Mt Indicated Mineral Resource at 57.84pc Fe; and
* a 127.2 Mt Inferred Mineral Resource at 56.7pc Fe.
The new mineral resources estimate for Opaban 1 was carried out
by SRK Consulting Pty Ltd in conjunction with Strike geologists.
Strike currently holds a 44pc interest in this project through
its 44pc shareholding in the project owner, Peruvian company Apurimac
Ferrum SA.
