GNS need every bit of plantation land and timber in Tasmania they can get, whether it be FEA, TIM or GTP simply to supply their proposed pulp mill and minimise Greenie attack from claims of old growth and regrowth logging. Why anyone would think about buying FEA planation land and timber in outback NSW and southern Queensland is anybody's guess and I expect would be a big turn off for Gunns. You can bet some deal will be done by Gunns to secure as much plantaion land and timber in Tasmania as possible from those most desperate (FEA, GPT, TIM) to sell. Time will allow all to unravel and fall into place.
