Hi Sumbo, I think the takehome message from the article was the atmosphere of Glasznost between groups normally unlikely to have much in common. While the mongrel mob may indeed be anti-semitic and anti-social the point is that at this time of national mourning, they were willing to play their useful part.

You're probably correct, in that it's hard to see why in the future I would have much to say about them.
