Case listed again for Monday after having gone missing for a month or so.
I know it's about the 100th time it has been listed over the past few years but there are a number of reasons to feel optimistic at the moment:
1. A new judge who has been a lot more proactive than the last judge, who basically didn't want to hand down a decision on it for various reasons.
2. The final hearing actually took place with the new judge in December last year - we are now just waiting for the final decision to be delivered - a favourable outcome is considered a mere formality.
3. So much so were government officials confident that block d7 license would be reinstated to B Vijay Kumar Exploration (Oropa's Indian JV partner) last December that supposedly an array of local journalists were taken on a helicopter tour of the area - block d7 is considered the prime block for diamond exploration in Chhattisgarh.
4. Now that ORP is having success in other areas (gold & uranium & maybe coal soon) it would be typical that finally its license would be reinstated. It's like when you're single, it's so hard to gat a date. Then when you're taken everybody wants you!
Fingers crossed for Monday fellow ORP holders!
P.S It would be typical of ORP to come out with a mind-blowing announcement on the week that the market is crashing - lol!
