I am involved with the sector, and I can tell you it is a tough place to be at the moment. See even today we have an impairment of $55m from CSV, and a sizeable one earlier in the year from SMX.
There are well run companies in the sector like DTL, DWS and TNE, however I just believe they have topped out (or close to) in value. RXP has done well at integrating acquisitions, but again I can't see much upside from here. I'm not saying any of these stocks are going to take a massive dive, I would just prefer to put my money somewhere else at this time.
The biggest disappointment has been EPD. So much potential, yet so poorly managed. A change in management could see this stock become $1.00 + in 2-3yrs.
