The news is not the news any more. The news is about giving its readers confirmation bias and it will always cater for those who only want the news they want to hear. Some good points about the break away from journalistic norms. No wonder people despise the media so much.

The NY Times head financial "expert" also said that stockmarkets would collapse and their would be world wide recession with months of a Trump presidency. They also claimed that any thoughts of 3 to 4% GDP growth was a stupid statement amongst MANY other statements they got totally wrong.

The New York Times failed to cover the holocaust at the time, so they can do or say what they want about having the moral high ground and or stand for the "truth"..

When Trump is gone, there might be a downturn, but my guess is the next in line will be vilified. Maybe not to the extent of Trump, but the same paper that was gushing over the likes of Bush snr and McCain, were vilifying them as racists, bigots, blah blah blah. Some people don't forget and know better than to buy their BS.
