Also, pick another Vanguard fund that covers less stocks.
Financial theory is that if you invest in all existing stocks, you will make a zero return.
300 stocks in the VAS fund covers just about all significant companies on the exchange.
This is great for diversification but not returns.
VLC another vanguard ETF covers only 30 stocks, all large companies but still good diversity
with a slightly higher cost, but a greater return.
Cost VAS .0.14% return 4.5%
Cost VLC 0.20% return 5%
