I'm happy to hold SLR in the current situation as I'm very bullish on the price of gold. Most gold miners are out to maximise production, but every ounce they produce now at what I think is a low price is an ounce that they can't produce in the future and sell at a much higher price. So SLR has found a place in my portfolio as a company which seems to have a different strategy. If gold does in fact rise greatly in price and it does manage to stay out of the hands of a predator it will outperform the rest of the market.
