In all issues like this, Computershare will cash your cheques on the day they are received and hold the proceeds aside in a separate account while the issue remains open. This is standard practice for registries, so that no-one can bunk off with your cheque if it is lying about etc. Then either they allocate your shares or refund your money. I too find them somewhat incompetent when it comes to asking them anything.

I suspect what will happen is that they will give everyone who applies up to a set amount each, ie $5000 worth or $10000 worth. I would therefore be surprised miningnut if you got your whole allocation.

Also it is heartening to see that they will not be given out to related parties (as they got theirs for free already). Maybe I will get some after all.

With the drilling coming up, it would be a nice Christmas present.
