No, have not held for a number of years. Did not like hearing everything moving to the US! So just interested in how the move is actually panning out. Mooted big cost savings of manufacturing in the US is a furfy in my opinion. Cost of Perth factory made up very small portion of total manufacturing costs as they only did final assembly and packaging there. Sub-assemblies used in Perth were manufactured in volume and at low cost in Asia (one would expect at lower than cost in US) and also assumingly from parts sourced in Asia. And even if there are savings from manufacture in the US this would be more than eaten up by (in my experience) the higher costs of shipping anything from US to the rest of the world. Or are they giving up on their non-US markets.... hence the warning from the ex-reseller in NZ? Currently non-US markets still make up more than half their revenue.
The half-year results will be interesting. Time will tell..... maybe I'm wrong.
