Yes. Not everyone has a huge mortgage. Not everyone is exposed to mortgage stress. Banks will be squeezed on both sides - cash sources demanding higher yields and borrowers unable to afford higher rates. You don't think there are large sub-prime portfolios? WBC are already reporting higher arrears. It is in their latest financials.
Why would DMP be in the same boat as HVN? They aren't targeting the same customer. HVN, selling to house buyers at high margin, are probably screwed too. DMP sell to renters, students and families at a budget price point.
