Another poster kindly linked this article elsewhere today. Says BYD and GM dumping the cobalt cathode for iron phosphate. Said to last 3x recharging cycles at 10% less energy density. That compromise is a no brainer really, if it's true. So there goes my cobalt pipe dream up in smoke. Found it difficult to find an angle to play anyway. But still a bullish price scenario with demand from other battery manufacturers and the politics of the Congo and the Philippines.
