if they can't come to a deal with one of the clubs seeking Judd, he goes into the pre season draft and the Tigers could pick him up for nothing (nothing in terms of compensation to WCE).
Seeing Judd is out of contract, it is a fine line WCE tread not being too greedy yet trying to get reasonable compensation. Port couldn't get a suitable deal with Collingwood for Nick Stevens and Carlton got him for nothing!
