sometimes it is economically better to buy/bring your own drill rig rather than leasing/paying the services of a local drilling company. It seems its a common practice by western miners working in poorly developed countries in africa/asia (where capital/equipment is scarce and thus expensive, and labor is abundant and thus cheap). To each its own I guess !
