I completed my simple analysis of Domino's Pizza to try and work out the current P/E ratio.

I used the half year information from "Half Year Results for period ended 1 January 2017" - http://dominosinvestors.com.au/reports-presentations

In calculating the P/E ratio, I have assumed that the full year EPS, will be double the half year EPS. Commsec's forecast is $1.362, so this assumption seems to be reasonable.

I understand that full year results are due for release on Tuesday 15 August.

When Domino's released its last half year results on 14 February 2017, DMP share price was $62.54. By close of business 15 February, the share price dropped to $53.56 ($8.98 or 14.3% drop). Clearly the market wasn't happy with the last half year results. It will be interesting to see what the full year results are, how much NPAT growth and how the market reacts.
