Welcome to the market. There are a lot of stocks in this market now that are overvalued. But continue to rise. And many undervalued that continue to fall. I don't know what else to say really. Value no longer seems to be the market norm. Maybe this is how this market will be from now on.
I do buy dominos pizzas and like them a lot. I get them quite regularly. That said there share price is extremely expensive. But then again its been like this for the last 5 plus years. Share price and value are totally disconnected from each other. Share price in 2012 has gone from $8 to $80 in 2016. Yet its intrinsic value in 2012 has only gone from $3.50 to $9 in 2016. That is a share price increase of 800% and only a intrinsic increase of 100%. That is a 700% difference.
I can not find any rational reason why dominos is trading where it is now and where it has been in the past. How can any broker justify having a $100 price target on a stock that has a actual value of less than $10 in 2017. Yet it is currently over $50. I really don't know what the answer is.
