(I am a DLS holder and am watching events with interest).
Well, what an eventful day for ACN and DLS holders.
Very interesting to see that Republic has agreed 'irrevocably' to accept DLS's offer. Clearly there is a gentlemen's agreement to accept what could be a lower CASH bid... no script advantage etc.. just cash.
Also, the 'Wrecker Family' have joined republic. This gives DLS over %40 of the company at $0.285.
I am sure this has happened before, but I have not seen it.
I think the 'water' is officially murky as hell. DLS sound very confident of now getting the company, the problem is, they do not have %50. Unlike Republic and Wreckers, I assume all the other holders will wait to see if there is a higher bid. As I stated in my earlier post, if another bid comes in above $0.30, I think it would be very difficult for DLS to up their bid. This then leaves them with a holding of %40, but not control.
I cannot understand why the other major holders would go, 'oh sure DLS, we will take your offer, even though we could make more money in about 1-2 weeks'. I would not believe it, but it has happened with the 2 above mentioned entities.
As SXY has been buying at $0.285 there is no money lost at DLS price, but... what other outcomes might occur.??
This should be an interesting story to follow.
