I could be wrong, but I'd think things would be getting dry over here in the east now.
The big rain northern NSW got was early July. It's probably about just right here now, on any heavy soil with a bit of depth, but lighter soils would be dryed out. Most other areas got no where near as much as we did 5 weeks ago, and there's been very little rain anywhere else. All the graziers are hanging out for a fall.
It's been a strange winter. We've had above average rain, but few rain days. Just a couple of big falls, from a couple of very wet days, with nothing in between. Usually you would get more smaller falls.
I'd think theres been more than the normal amount of frosts this year, and we are in for a few more, starting tonight.
Doesn't look to be anything of much significance on the way.
