Your reasoning is sound, and it is always wise to put a stock that has been sold down very heavily, yet is still fundamentally sound, on ones radar, especially when it is pregnant with a dividend with franking credits, and where other investors of like mind will find value in it.
The trouble is that some investors get greedy and want to make a million over night and end up losing their shirts.
