I bought AJL on the strength of those very assurances.

Foolish, methinks, as the whole shebang is softening. Housing may be due for a big correction.

The only thing is that AJL, even with a 50% drop in EPS (a worst case senario..?) - which is what happened first half year, it still gives a 10% return on the currrent share price.

Also, part of the drop in profits is blamed on longer lead time for some developments. If this is true, asoftening of the market will not be so bad.

I'm not reccomending a buy, however.
