Dont' know how many ppl are aware of this, i certainity wasnt until i picked up my tax legislation and leafed through it, if like me you purchased the PES options more than 12months ago and exercised them you will not be able to take advantage of the discount capital gain under s115 ITAA97 as the 12 month period restarts when the options are exercised see s115-23(3) ITAA97.
I hate paying tax!
