Yes psych101,I have too many shares too get out in a hurry and following my critical remarks ,I will be taking up my rights issue mainly because we have a brilliant team of researchers.I have researched previous announcements and research papers, so let me summarise the disappointments;
1.The Edison report in March this year talked about a cap raising in 2017 and if $ 9 million was raised would adjust their target to 28c a share.
2.Red Chip stated that their future capital needs are uncertain while their near term capital needs are fairly certain.
3.Steve after the last capital raising said their short term needs were secured.

The timing of the capital raising has to be understood in what was said about the release of information;
4.The stock is pregnant with news some months ago...an investor update
5.Red chip said near term data readouts in 2016 provide events that could lead to stock price appreciation.
6.Steve said on Red Chip interview that goes out to 220 million households that PTX is worth multiples of its price now...grossly undervalued.
QUESTION Why with all this information to be released and being told from a number of sources (although they all lead back to the company) that a CR is not necessary and it is grossly undervalued... why not wait...Perhaps the information is not that positive.

6.PTX has an identity problem.The US promoter Red Chip interview with Steve gave the impression that American investors would see the value and buy up the shares.It obviously did not happen and to add insult the few that did were not allowed to participate in the rights issue effectively closing the door on an future American investor thinking of buying shares inPTX.
7.Red Chip also used peer comparisons with the biotechs on the US market again encouraging both Australian and US investors to think that the gap will close.I have been watching biotechs for a long while and it is just a fact of life that never happens as they are two different markets,so it is a misleading practice.

In my opinion it will be success at the research level that will interest the big Pharmas and that is not guaranteed that will lead to share appreciation but lets hope it is not before we are all diluted out.
