This is certainly true. I look to buy stocks I will hold for 12 to 18 months at least and hopefully longer. In hindsight I bought in too early, but I would rather be too early than too late. If EGA does go for a speculative run in the near term I will be able to sell and still get the 50% CGT deduction.

If you want to develop your patience muscle try holding ORR. Any day we could get news that doubles the stock price and it is totally unpredictible. That stock is truely testing my hold instinct.
